Here is a summary of common questions regarding our products. If you can´t find the answer to your question/questions please contact our customer service at for help.

  • How do I find the article/style number in my garment?

Answer: The six figure style number can be found on the care label on the inside of the garment.

  • Which size should my child have?

Answer: Size 70-170 is available in our kids and youth assortment. The size indicates the length of the child in centimeters. You can find a chart of all the sizes under the section size guide.

  • How does the "Extend size" work?

Answer: The system applies to our childrens nylon and polyester waterproof product. There is a special red seam on the inside lining of the arms and legs which can be unpicked to extend the length of the garment by roughly one size. This allows the garment “to grow” normally at the same rate as the child and in most cases in size over a full season. Remember to use a seam ripper when you loosen the stitching so the fabric will not be damaged.

  • Where can I find washing instructions for my garment?

Answer: On the inside of the garments is a label with the care instructions.

  • Why should I not use fabric softener?

Answer: Fabric softener should not be used on our impregnated garments as this can have a negative impact on the garment's water repellency. Use of fabric softener may also contribute to the eutrophication of our lakes.

  • Can I dry my clothes in a dryer?

Drying the garment in a tumble dryer is not recommended because of the risk of using to high a high temperature. When using a “heating-cabinet” the heat should not exceed the garment recommended washing temperature, for example if the advised washing temperature is 40°C then this applies also to the drying temperature.

  • Can I dry my clothes in the dryer?

We believe that tumbling should be avoided as this causes unnecessary wear on the features of the material and the garment.

  • Do I need to re-impregnate my garments?

Answer: It is usually sufficient to reactivate the water-repellent impregnation with dry heat after washing, such as ironing on a low setting. Depending on how much wear the garment exposed to it may be appropriate to re-impregnate the garment after some use. We have no impregnation preparations that we recommend above anything else, but please choose one without fluorocarbons.

  • Can I get help with spare parts for a garment?

Answer: We have some spare parts available like buckles, buttons and zippers. Contact our customer service for assistance,

  • What is the best way to open and close a 2-way zip?

    To close:

    1. Pull down the top runner to sit on the lower runner at the bottom of the zip.
    2. Insert the male pin into the sliders on both runners ensuring that it reaches the bottom whilst holding the two runners together. (If this is not done properly it can lead to faults on the zip).
    3. Holding the male side of the zip and jacket at the bottom to create some tension, pull up the top runner.

  • To open:

    1. Pull the top runner down to the bottom runner.
    2. Remove the male side gently from both runners.

  • Tips!

All zips should be closed completely before washing. A zip left open can damage fabric or cause the tape to the fastener to shrink.

  • What does it mean when a garment is breathable?

Answer: When we say that a garment is breathable, we are referring to the garment's ability to transport moisture, in the form of condensation, from the body to the outside of the garment. Levels of breathability between brands are not always comparable and depend on the test standard that was used. We use the American standard ASTM E-96 BW to test our products because the test conditions can be closely compared with the Swedish summer in both humidity and temperature. The breathability of a garment can be perceived differently depending on the combination of fabrics used, physical activity and weather conditions.

  • How durable is the garment?

Answer: To increase the durability of our garments, we use extra reinforcement on the most vulnerable areas, such as the back and knees. There are few materials that can withstand the wear and tear when the garment is subjected to extreme abrasion like gravel, asphalt or stone.

  • Do you use real fur?

Answer: We have an extremely strict policy which is against the use of real fur, leather or down in our garments.

  • What is Galon®?

Answer: Galon® is a 100% waterproof material that requires no waterproofing or finishing. The material is made of a fabric that is coated with PU (polyurethane). Galon® is a soft, quick drying and smooth material which is durable and hardwearing. It is easy to keep clean and can be wiped with a damp cloth, instead of having to be washed. Galon® is free from toxic substances.

  • Does your garment have any per-fluorinates (fluorocarbons)?

Answer: The water repellency treatment on all products are from 2015 free from fluorinated substances.

  • Do your garments or accessory use or contain phthalates, heavy metals and other dangerous chemicals?

Answer: Chemicals are often needed in the manufacturing of our products, but we strictly adhere to a restricted list of approved chemicals and their thresholds and we regulate the amount of environmental and hazardous substances used in our processes. The list is based on the EU chemicals legislation REACH. Phthalates or heavy metals are not knowingly implemented into our products, however, accidental or involuntary contamination could occur during transit or transfer. Such an instance could be due to a cross contamination from other processes within the same factory, but the possible level and concentration of such a contamination occurring will not exceed any set limits that are applicable to these substances or chemicals.
