The windproof Timo jacket with its 2-layer weave fabric in 73% recycled polyamide and 27% organic cotton is a great jacket for wearing every day. It is fully waterproof with taped seams and can withstand any surprising weather on the way to preschool or school. PFC-free water repellent finish.

Polyamid is a synthetic material used in garments that need to be water repellent, lightweight, breathable or able to transport moisture away from the body – whether working in unison or on their own, depending on the function of the garment. Cotton is a natural fibre that comes from the cotton plant. The material is used in garments that need to be soft and flexible, eighter as 100% cotton or as a polyester/cotton blend, to make the garment more durable. For a specific garment's characteristics, see its product description.

Take care of your garment, consider how you handle and store it. Here and on the inside of the garment you will find washing instructions to help you look after it in the best possible way. Wash only when needed and air or wipe garments over with a damp cloth in the first instance. Reactivate the impregnation treatment on waterproof garments by ironing them in accordance with the washing instructions. Repair tears with repair patches and contact us for spare parts. Below is a simple summary of which garments have insulating properties. The warmth scale is based on a number of factors such as weight of padding, type of padding, length, and construction of the garment.

Remember that everyone experiences heat differently and some people feel the cold more than others. This scale is intended to provide a pointer regarding how warm a garment is.

breathable_1.png No breathability - This garment has a low capacity for transporting moisture in the form of water vapour, which means that you may experience a damp, clammy feeling if you plan to wear the garment for any significant level of physical activity.
Breathable_2.png Breathability - This garment has a breathability level between 4,000-10,000 g/m²/24h and is made with the ability to transport water vapour through the fabric.
Breathable_3.png Mechanical breathability - This garment offers mechanical breathability, which means that we have incorporated one or more vents into the garment so that air can pass through. These vents are carefully positioned, so that water cannot penetrate the garment.
