Mechanical breathability - This garment offers mechanical breathability, which means that we have incorporated one or more vents into the garment so that air can pass through. These vents are carefully positioned, so that water cannot penetrate the garment.

Neapel is a classic parka from the Didriksons Originals collection. It is fully wind and waterproof with taped seams. Neapel is made from breathable fabric and is perfect for cold winter days. The hood and faux fur trim are detachable. Neapel features smart reflective threads in the faux fur trim around the hood. The hood and cuffs can all be adjusted as needed. The parka also has several handy pockets. The lining has been dyed using a solution dyeing technique. This technique reduces water, energy and chemical consumption during production. PFC-free water-repellent finish.

FINDING YOUR SIZE

Tricky to know which size to pick? The measurements in the size charts for youths are given in centimetres. Remember that you only need to go by chest measurement for jackets and tops, and hip and waist measurements for bottoms. All measurements are based on a height of 168 centimetres (plus/minus 4 centimetres).

How do I measure myself?

Using a tape measure, measure directly against your body in centimetres to determine your size. In order to pick the correct size for jackets and tops, you should take your chest measurement. In order to pick the correct size for bottoms, go by your hip and waist measurements. Range of movement is already taken into account.

    Chest measurement

    Measure over the fullest part of your bust and over the shoulder blades, ideally with a bra on. Go by this measurement when selecting jackets and tops.

    Waist

    Measure your waist at the narrowest point. If you want to know what size to choose for bottoms, go by your hip measurement first of all. Waist measurement is secondary.

  • C

    Hips

    Measure around your hips at the widest point, which is roughly 20 cm below your waist.

  • D

    Inside leg length

    Inside leg length is measured from the crotch down to the floor.

What shoe size am I?

No one feels comfortable in footwear that is too big or too small. In order to make it easier for you to find your size, you need to measure based on the internal length of the sole. Measure your foot from heel to big toe to determine the correct size.

What size gloves do I need?

It can sometimes be tricky to know what size you need in order to keep your hands warm. You need to measure the length of your hand from your wrist to the tip of your middle finger (A). Measure around your hand, not including the thumb (B). The measurements are given in centimetres.

What size of hat or cap do I need?

You need to measure the circumference of your head at its widest point, roughly one centimetre above your eyebrows and eyes. Don’t pull the tape measure too tight. If the measurement falls between two whole centimetres, round up to the larger size. No tape measure? In that case, you can measure using a length of string, and then measure it against a ruler or folding rule. The circumference of the head is measured in centimetres.
