Alto is a waterproof poncho designed for both everyday use and outdoor activities. It features a fixed hood with elastic sides for a comfortable fit and reflective details that enhance visibility in the dark. The poncho is made from a durable material with 4-way stretch, providing freedom of movement and comfort. The front zip is protected by a placket with buttons, and a chin-protecting design ensures the zip does not sit directly against the chin. The poncho is made from PVC-free Galon® with welded seams for a 100% waterproof construction and is OEKO-TEX certified.

Polyurethane is used for its waterproof properties, either as a coating or as the main material in a garment, in the form of Galon®. We have been manufacturing waterproof garments since 1913 and soon discovered the benefits of Galon® garments, which include resistance to moisture and the ease with which they can be kept clean. Galon® is a brand name that now belongs to Didriksons, and the material is OEKO-TEX certified. 
Polyester is a synthetic material used in garments that need to be water repellent, lightweight, breathable or able to transport moisture away from the body – whether working in unison or on their own, depending on the function of the garment. Take care of your garment, consider how you handle and store it. Here and on the inside of the garment you will find washing instructions to help you look after it in the best possible way. Wash only when needed and air or wipe garments over with a damp cloth in the first instance. Reactivate the impregnation treatment on waterproof garments by ironing them in accordance with the washing instructions. Repair tears with repair patches and contact us for spare parts. Below is a simple summary of which garments are waterproof based on a three-level scale. We have formulated our waterproofness scale based on the waterproofness of the material, whether the garment has taped or welded seams, and how the garment is constructed.

Below is a simple summary of which garments have insulating properties. The warmth scale is based on a number of factors such as weight of padding, type of padding, length, and construction of the garment.

Remember that everyone experiences heat differently and some people feel the cold more than others. This scale is intended to provide a pointer regarding how warm a garment is.

Heat_2.png Warm - This garment is warm and has insulating properties with a padding level between 100-140 g/m².
Heat_3.png Extra warm - This garment is extra warm and has highly insulating properties with a padding level between 160-300 g/m².
