Rocket are very functional pants with taped seams that are fully windproof and waterproof but still breathable. They are made from an innovative 3-layer stretch fabric that feels flexible thanks to its four-way stretch function. These pants have an active fit, Cordura® reinforcement on the knees and seat, and a smooth, matte finish. Rocket has one front pocket with a zip. Elasticated ankles with replaceable silicone foot straps. Adjustable elasticated waist. Reflective piping down the lower legs.

Polyamid is a synthetic material used in garments that need to be water repellent, lightweight, breathable or able to transport moisture away from the body – whether working in unison or on their own, depending on the function of the garment. For a specific garment's characteristics, see its product description.

Elastane is a highly elastic, synthetic polyurethane fibre, also known by the brand name Lycra. The material is used in combination with other fibres to give fabrics additional elasticity. Elastane can be stretched up to six times its original length and then return to its original length.

The garment's material decides its characteristics and what functions the garment has.

Take care of your garment, consider how you handle and store it. Here and on the inside of the garment you will find washing instructions to help you look after it in the best possible way. Wash only when needed and air or wipe garments over with a damp cloth in the first instance. Reactivate the impregnation treatment on waterproof garments by ironing them in accordance with the washing instructions. Repair tears with repair patches and contact us for spare parts. Not waterproof - This garment is not waterproof and will not repel rain.

Water-repellent - This garment is water-repellent and will repel light rain for a short length of time.

Waterproof - This garment has a water column between 5,000-10,000mm and is fully waterproof, the material as well as the construction.

Shell - This is a shell garment and has no insulating properties.

Below is a simple summary of which garments have insulating properties. The warmth scale is based on a number of factors such as weight of padding, type of padding, length, and construction of the garment.

Remember that everyone experiences heat differently and some people feel the cold more than others. This scale is intended to provide a pointer regarding how warm a garment is.

Shell - This is a shell garment and has no insulating properties.

Warm - This garment is warm and has insulating properties with a padding level between 100-140 g/m².

Extra warm - This garment is extra warm and has highly insulating properties with a padding level between 160-300 g/m².

Breathability - This garment has a breathability level between 4,000-10,000 g/m²/24h and is made with the ability to transport water vapour through the fabric.

Below is a simple summary of the breathability of our garments.

No breathability - This garment has a low capacity for transporting moisture in the form of water vapour, which means that you may experience a damp, clammy feeling if you plan to wear the garment for any significant level of physical activity.

Breathability - This garment has a breathability level between 4,000-10,000 g/m²/24h and is made with the ability to transport water vapour through the fabric.

Mechanical breathability - This garment offers mechanical breathability, which means that we have incorporated one or more vents into the garment so that air can pass through. These vents are carefully positioned, so that water cannot penetrate the garment.

This garment is extremely hard-wearing.

Below is a simple summary of the durability of our outerwear. How hard-wearing a garment is is based on the material’s durability, texture, and extra reinforcement. The durability is tested by rubbing the garment with sandpaper.

Hard-wearing - This garment is hard-wearing in relation to the material it is made from.

Very hard-wearing - This garment is made from a hard-wearing material.

Extremely hard-wearing - This garment is made from a strong, hard-wearing material with extra reinforcement in exposed areas.
