Myran is a fully wind and waterproof rain jacket with welded seams made from Galon® and a ventilation function. Myran is a parka jacket with a classic fit, tricot lining and lined hood. Two transparent front pockets with buttons. Detachable hood with a transparent peak and black reflective edging. Elasticated cuffs and taped black reflective detailing by cuffs. Concealed ventilation holes under the yoke at the back. Full-length zip front with a buttoned protective storm flap. Name tag with space for several names inside the jacket.

We have been manufacturing waterproof garments since 1913 and soon discovered the benefits of Galon® garments, which include resistance to moisture and the ease with which they can be kept clean. Galon® is a brand name that now belongs to Didriksons, and the material is OEKO-TEX certified.

Polyamid is a synthetic material used in garments that need to be water repellent, lightweight, breathable or able to transport moisture away from the body – whether working in unison or on their own, depending on the function of the garment. Take care of your garment, consider how you handle and store it. Here and on the inside of the garment you will find washing instructions to help you look after it in the best possible way. Wash only when needed and air or wipe garments over with a damp cloth in the first instance. Reactivate the impregnation treatment on waterproof garments by ironing them in accordance with the washing instructions. Repair tears with repair patches and contact us for spare parts. Remember that everyone experiences heat differently and some people feel the cold more than others. This scale is intended to provide a pointer regarding how warm a garment is.

Shell - This is a shell garment and has no insulating properties.

Warm - This garment is warm and has insulating properties with a padding level between 100-140 g/m².

Extra warm - This garment is extra warm and has highly insulating properties with a padding level between 160-300 g/m².

This garment is very hard-wearing.

Below is a simple summary of the durability of our outerwear. How hard-wearing a garment is is based on the material’s durability, texture, and extra reinforcement. The durability is tested by rubbing the garment with sandpaper.

Hard-wearing - This garment is hard-wearing in relation to the material it is made from.

Very hard-wearing - This garment is made from a hard-wearing material.

Extremely hard-wearing - This garment is made from a strong, hard-wearing material with extra reinforcement in exposed areas.
