Below is a simple summary of which garments are waterproof based on a three-level scale. We have formulated our waterproofness scale based on the waterproofness of the material, whether the garment has taped or welded seams, and how the garment is constructed.
Not waterproof - This garment is not waterproof and will not repel rain.
Water-repellent - This garment is water-repellent and will repel light rain for a short length of time.
Waterproof - This garment is fully waterproof, both material and construction.
Insulates your body to make sure you always have the right temperature. Worn separate as a second layer. In harsh weather preferably worn together with a protective shell that is 100% wind and waterproof.
All measurements are taken directly on the body:
Measure the widest chest area and around the shoulder blades. Recommended to wear a bra while measuring.
Measure the smallest area.
Measure around the widest part of the seat approximately 20 cm below the waist on adults.
Measure from the crotch to the floor.
Measure entire body when standing straight against a wall.
Normal length 164 - 172 cm.
