Biggles are a pair of waterproof and windproof mittens for children, made with taped seams and a reflective outer material that increases visibility in the dark. The mittens have reinforced areas for extra durability and an adjustable cuff to ensure a good fit. The inside is equipped with a waterproof lining to keep hands dry during outdoor play.

The mittens have a safety strap to prevent them from being lost, and they are designed to withstand both everyday use and outdoor activities such as hiking and trekking.

Polyester is a synthetic material used in garments that need to be water repellent, lightweight, breathable or able to transport moisture away from the body – whether working in unison or on their own, depending on the function of the garment. Polyurethane is used for its waterproof properties, either as a coating or as the main material in a garment, in the form of Galon®. We have been manufacturing waterproof garments since 1913 and soon discovered the benefits of Galon® garments, which include resistance to moisture and the ease with which they can be kept clean. Galon® is a brand name that now belongs to Didriksons, and the material is OEKO-TEX certified.

Take care of your garment, consider how you handle and store it. Here and on the inside of the garment you will find washing instructions to help you look after it in the best possible way. Wash only when needed and air or wipe garments over with a damp cloth in the first instance. Reactivate the impregnation treatment on waterproof garments by ironing them in accordance with the washing instructions. Repair tears with repair patches and contact us for spare parts. Remember that everyone experiences heat differently and some people feel the cold more than others. This scale is intended to provide a pointer regarding how warm a garment is.

Breathable_2.png Breathability - This garment has a breathability level between 4,000-10,000 g/m²/24h and is made with the ability to transport water vapour through the fabric.
Breathable_3.png Mechanical breathability - This garment offers mechanical breathability, which means that we have incorporated one or more vents into the garment so that air can pass through. These vents are carefully positioned, so that water cannot penetrate the garment.
