Tirian is a warm, padded coverall designed to look like a separate jacket and pants. It is breathable and fully wind and waterproof with taped seams and is made from a soft polyester fabric for greater ease of movement. Tirian has a classic fit and pre-shaped legs, with reinforced knees and seat. The underarms have been designed for greater mobility. Tirian has reflective details at the ankles and cuffs and on the hood and back. It has two front pockets with velcro fasteners. It has snow gaiters to keep snow out at the ankles and extra hard-wearing, replaceable silicone foot straps. The sleeves have mitten-holders and inner cuffs with thumb-holes that provide good insulation. The hood and its faux fur trim are both detachable, and the cuffs and ankles can be adjusted as needed. Tirian features our “Extend size” function, allowing the sleeves and legs to be extended by up to one size. The padding is made from polyester. The lining has been dyed using a solution dyeing technique. This technique saves up to 80% water compared to conventionally dyed fabric in the same material. PFC-free water-repellent finish. Name tag with space for several names inside.

Care

Take care of your garment, consider how you handle and store it. Here and on the inside of the garment you will find washing instructions to help you look after it in the best possible way. Wash only when needed and air or wipe garments over with a damp cloth in the first instance. Reactivate the impregnation treatment on waterproof garments by ironing them in accordance with the washing instructions. Repair tears with repair patches and contact us for spare parts. Shell - This is a shell garment and has no insulating properties.

Warm - This garment is warm and has insulating properties with a padding level between 100-140 g/m².

Extra warm - This garment is extra warm and has highly insulating properties with a padding level between 160-300 g/m².

Breathability - This garment has a breathability level between 4,000-10,000 g/m²/24h and is made with the ability to transport water vapour through the fabric.

No breathability - This garment has a low capacity for transporting moisture in the form of water vapour, which means that you may experience a damp, clammy feeling if you plan to wear the garment for any significant level of physical activity.

Breathability - This garment has a breathability level between 4,000-10,000 g/m²/24h and is made with the ability to transport water vapour through the fabric.

Mechanical breathability - This garment offers mechanical breathability, which means that we have incorporated one or more vents into the garment so that air can pass through. These vents are carefully positioned, so that water cannot penetrate the garment.

This garment is very hard-wearing.

Below is a simple summary of the durability of our outerwear. How hard-wearing a garment is is based on the material’s durability, texture, and extra reinforcement. The durability is tested by rubbing the garment with sandpaper.

Hard-wearing - This garment is hard-wearing in relation to the material it is made from.
