Grit is crafted to meet the demands of both everyday life and time spent outdoors, combining clean design with high performance functionality. Made from durable polyamide fabric, the jacket is designed for year round use and built to withstand changing weather conditions. Paired with a high performance construction, it delivers 15,000 mm water column protection together with breathable performance of 4,000 g/m²/24h, ensuring full waterproof and windproof protection with taped seams. Built to perform in all weather conditions.

Crafted with a comfortable fit, Grit offers both functionality and ease of movement. The adjustable hood features a drawstring and a shaped brim for added protection when the weather shifts.

Thoughtful details enhance the experience: adjustable cuffs with Velcro, an adjustable hem with drawstring, and water repellent zips in exposed areas. A front zip with protective construction ensures it never sits directly against the chin. Multiple pockets, including an inner zip pocket and two zipped outer pockets, keep your essentials secure.

Take care of your garment, consider how you handle and store it. Here and on the inside of the garment you will find washing instructions to help you look after it in the best possible way. Wash only when needed and air or wipe garments over with a damp cloth in the first instance. Reactivate the impregnation treatment on waterproof garments by ironing them in accordance with the washing instructions. Repair tears with repair patches and contact us for spare parts. Below is a simple summary of which garments have insulating properties. The warmth scale is based on a number of factors such as weight of padding, type of padding, length, and construction of the garment.

Remember that everyone experiences heat differently and some people feel the cold more than others. This scale is intended to provide a pointer regarding how warm a garment is.

Shell - This is a shell garment and has no insulating properties.

Warm - This garment is warm and has insulating properties with a padding level between 100-140 g/m².

Extra warm - This garment is extra warm and has highly insulating properties with a padding level between 160-300 g/m².

Breathability - This garment has a breathability level between 4,000-10,000 g/m²/24h and is made with the ability to transport water vapour through the fabric.

No breathability - This garment has a low capacity for transporting moisture in the form of water vapour, which means that you may experience a damp, clammy feeling if you plan to wear the garment for any significant level of physical activity.

Breathability - This garment has a breathability level between 4,000-10,000 g/m²/24h and is made with the ability to transport water vapour through the fabric.

Mechanical breathability - This garment offers mechanical breathability, which means that we have incorporated one or more vents into the garment so that air can pass through. These vents are carefully positioned, so that water cannot penetrate the garment.
