Rex is a fully water and windproof coat with all seams taped for a 100% waterproof construction. Inspired by the our City Collection from 1939. This coat has a classic design with a split rear hem, a two-way zip front with a protective storm flap and two buttons. The coat is made from recyclable polyester, which means that when it is no longer fit for use, it is prepared to be recycled into new material. Rex has a smooth finish with a sheen. Straight-cut fit. Rex has one buttoned front pocket on either side and two inside pockets, one buttoned and one zipped. Adjustable sleeve ends and a concealed button to fasten the collar at the neck. PFC-free water-repellent finish.

Polyester is a synthetic material used in garments that need to be water repellent, lightweight, breathable or able to transport moisture away from the body – whether working in unison or on their own, depending on the function of the garment. Take care of your garment, consider how you handle and store it. Here and on the inside of the garment you will find washing instructions to help you look after it in the best possible way. Wash only when needed and air or wipe garments over with a damp cloth in the first instance. Reactivate the impregnation treatment on waterproof garments by ironing them in accordance with the washing instructions. Repair tears with repair patches and contact us for spare parts. Below is a simple summary of which garments have insulating properties. The warmth scale is based on a number of factors such as weight of padding, type of padding, length, and construction of the garment.

Remember that everyone experiences heat differently and some people feel the cold more than others. This scale is intended to provide a pointer regarding how warm a garment is.

breathable_1.png No breathability - This garment has a low capacity for transporting moisture in the form of water vapour, which means that you may experience a damp, clammy feeling if you plan to wear the garment for any significant level of physical activity.
Breathable_2.png Breathability - This garment has a breathability level between 4,000-10,000 g/m²/24h and is made with the ability to transport water vapour through the fabric.
Breathable_3.png Mechanical breathability - This garment offers mechanical breathability, which means that we have incorporated one or more vents into the garment so that air can pass through. These vents are carefully positioned, so that water cannot penetrate the garment.
