Stigen jacket is a durable, windproof and water repellent garment for exciting days outdoors. The 2-way stretch Sorona® fabric has a very soft and smooth backing for a comfortable wear. Bio-based Sorona® polymer is made from 37% plant-based ingredients (oil derived from corn blast). Sorona® polymer has Class 1 certification from the OEKO-TEX Standard 100. Part of the sleeves and the back of the jacket are reinforced with Stretch Cordura® to withstand plays that can get a bit rough on the clothes. PFC-free water repellent finish.

Elastomultiester, or bio-based Sorona® polymer, is a versatile and strong material from the DuPont company. The polymer consists of 37% plant-based ingredients from corn blast. The material is soft, moisture-wicking and returns easily to its original shape after stretching. Sorona® holds Class 1 certification from OEKO-TEX Standard 100. DuPont is a bluesign® system partner, meaning the company fulfils bluesign® standards as a responsible player with a commitment to sustainability in the textile value chain.
Polyester is a synthetic material used in garments that need to be water repellent, lightweight, breathable or able to transport moisture away from the body – whether working in unison or on their own, depending on the function of the garment. Elastane is a highly elastic, synthetic polyurethane fibre, also known by the brand name Lycra. The material is used in combination with other fibres to give fabrics additional elasticity. Elastane can be stretched up to six times its original length and then return to its original length.

Take care of your garment, consider how you handle and store it. Here and on the inside of the garment you will find washing instructions to help you look after it in the best possible way. Wash only when needed and air or wipe garments over with a damp cloth in the first instance. Reactivate the impregnation treatment on waterproof garments by ironing them in accordance with the washing instructions. Repair tears with repair patches and contact us for spare parts. Below is a simple summary of which garments have insulating properties. The warmth scale is based on a number of factors such as weight of padding, type of padding, length, and construction of the garment.

Remember that everyone experiences heat differently and some people feel the cold more than others. This scale is intended to provide a pointer regarding how warm a garment is.
