Aegis are some highly technical and functional rain pants for your outdoor adventures, at sea or at land. They are designed to withstand the elements thanks to their waterproof construction with taped seams, Aquaguard zippers and carefully created details to prevent water from seeping in. The pants are made with a durable, two-layer Sorona® fabric (partly biobased) with reinforcement patches at the knees, leg ends and seat with pleats at the knees for improved mobility. There are several pockets and loops to attach necessary tools, for fishing or similar activites.

Polyester is a synthetic material used in garments that need to be water repellent, lightweight, breathable or able to transport moisture away from the body – whether working in unison or on their own, depending on the function of the garment. Elastomultiester, or bio-based Sorona® polymer, is a versatile and strong material from the DuPont company. The polymer consists of 37% plant-based ingredients from corn blast. The material is soft, moisture-wicking and returns easily to its original shape after stretching. Sorona® holds Class 1 certification from OEKO-TEX Standard 100. DuPont is a bluesign® system partner, meaning the company fulfils bluesign® standards as a responsible player with a commitment to sustainability in the textile value chain.

Take care of your garment, consider how you handle and store it. Here and on the inside of the garment you will find washing instructions to help you look after it in the best possible way. Wash only when needed and air or wipe garments over with a damp cloth in the first instance. Reactivate the impregnation treatment on waterproof garments by ironing them in accordance with the washing instructions. Repair tears with repair patches and contact us for spare parts. Not waterproof - This garment is not waterproof and will not repel rain.

Water-repellent - This garment is water-repellent and will repel light rain for a short length of time.

Waterproof - This garment has a water column between 5,000-10,000mm and is fully waterproof, the material as well as the construction.

Shell - This is a shell garment and has no insulating properties.

Remember that everyone experiences heat differently and some people feel the cold more than others. This scale is intended to provide a pointer regarding how warm a garment is.

Shell - This is a shell garment and has no insulating properties.

Warm - This garment is warm and has insulating properties with a padding level between 100-140 g/m².

Extra warm - This garment is extra warm and has highly insulating properties with a padding level between 160-300 g/m².
