Thelma is a functional and stylish parka for women, perfect for outdoor activities where the weather can be unpredictable. It is water- and windproof with taped seams and made from a breathable material, making it ideal for all weather conditions. The parka features a weather-protective hood with an extra protective brim and can be adjusted in two directions for an optimal fit.

With an adjustable waist and hem, you can easily customise the fit to suit your needs. The parka has several practical pockets, including a chest pocket with a button and inner pockets with zips and mesh. The front zip is protected by a placket with buttons for extra protection against the weather. The cuffs can be adjusted with Velcro to keep the cold out, and the zip never lies directly against the chin thanks to the collar's design.

Take care of your garment, consider how you handle and store it. Here and on the inside of the garment you will find washing instructions to help you look after it in the best possible way. Wash only when needed and air or wipe garments over with a damp cloth in the first instance. Reactivate the impregnation treatment on waterproof garments by ironing them in accordance with the washing instructions. Repair tears with repair patches and contact us for spare parts. Below is a simple summary of which garments are waterproof based on a three-level scale. We have formulated our waterproofness scale based on the waterproofness of the material, whether the garment has taped or welded seams, and how the garment is constructed.

Not waterproof - This garment is not waterproof and will not repel rain.

Water-repellent - This garment is water-repellent and will repel light rain for a short length of time.

Waterproof - This garment has a water column between 5,000-10,000mm and is fully waterproof, the material as well as the construction.

Shell - This is a shell garment and has no insulating properties.

Below is a simple summary of which garments have insulating properties. The warmth scale is based on a number of factors such as weight of padding, type of padding, length, and construction of the garment.

Remember that everyone experiences heat differently and some people feel the cold more than others. This scale is intended to provide a pointer regarding how warm a garment is.

Shell - This is a shell garment and has no insulating properties.

Warm - This garment is warm and has insulating properties with a padding level between 100-140 g/m².

Extra warm - This garment is extra warm and has highly insulating properties with a padding level between 160-300 g/m².

Breathability - This garment has a breathability level between 4,000-10,000 g/m²/24h and is made with the ability to transport water vapour through the fabric.

No breathability - This garment has a low capacity for transporting moisture in the form of water vapour, which means that you may experience a damp, clammy feeling if you plan to wear the garment for any significant level of physical activity.

Breathability - This garment has a breathability level between 4,000-10,000 g/m²/24h and is made with the ability to transport water vapour through the fabric.

Mechanical breathability - This garment offers mechanical breathability, which means that we have incorporated one or more vents into the garment so that air can pass through. These vents are carefully positioned, so that water cannot penetrate the garment.

Every one of our jackets serves a unique purpose. Back in 2007, we identified a gap in the market for waterproof outerwear designed specifically for women. At the time, there were limited color options, and the designs were typically short and sporty. This sparked the birth of a new concept: a jacket that not only kept the wearer dry and comfortable in any weather but also looked stylish for any occasion. We embarked on a journey to create a fresh style and fit catering to active women, distinct from the conventional waterproof jackets. Our aim was to craft a longer parka that women could proudly wear every day. This vision led to the creation of the iconic Thelma parka.
