Mila is a fully wind and waterproof coat with taped seams. The material has a twill structure with a soft, brushed finish. A-line cut with a concealed drawstring at the waist and detailing on the shoulders. Adjustable button cuffs, two buttoned side pockets and two inside pockets, one buttoned and one zipped. The inside of the jacket has discreet buttons for attaching a mid-layer from us, Juni. Zip with protective storm flap. The jacket lining has been dyed using a solution dyeing technique. This technique saves up to 80% water compared to conventionally dyed fabric in the same material. PFC-free water-repellent finish.

Care
Take care of your garment, consider how you handle and store it. Here and on the inside of the garment you will find washing instructions to help you look after it in the best possible way. Wash only when needed and air or wipe garments over with a damp cloth in the first instance. Reactivate the impregnation treatment on waterproof garments by ironing them in accordance with the washing instructions. Repair tears with repair patches and contact us for spare parts. Additional information about caring for garments can be found under the heading “FAQ”.

Below is a simple summary of which garments are waterproof based on a three-level scale. We have formulated our waterproofness scale based on the waterproofness of the material, whether the garment has taped or welded seams, and how the garment is constructed.

Below is a simple summary of which garments have insulating properties. The warmth scale is based on a number of factors such as weight of padding, type of padding, length, and construction of the garment.

Remember that everyone experiences heat differently and some people feel the cold more than others. This scale is intended to provide a pointer regarding how warm a garment is.

Heat_1.png Shell - This is a shell garment and has no insulating properties.
Heat_2.png Warm - This garment is warm and has insulating properties with a padding level between 100-140 g/m².
Heat_3.png Extra warm - This garment is extra warm and has highly insulating properties with a padding level between 160-300 g/m².
Performance AttributesBreathability - This garment has a breathability level between 4,000-10,000 g/m²/24h and is made with the ability to transport water vapour through the fabric.

breathable_1.png No breathability - This garment has a low capacity for transporting moisture in the form of water vapour, which means that you may experience a damp, clammy feeling if you plan to wear the garment for any significant level of physical activity.
Breathable_2.png Breathability - This garment has a breathability level between 4,000-10,000 g/m²/24h and is made with the ability to transport water vapour through the fabric.
Breathable_3.png Mechanical breathability - This garment offers mechanical breathability, which means that we have incorporated one or more vents into the garment so that air can pass through. These vents are carefully positioned, so that water cannot penetrate the garment.
