⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect winter jacket for long walks with a dog I was looking for a really warm winter jacket, since I spend about two hours outdoors with my dog every day—and I’m completely satisfied with this jacket! I’m 5'6" tall, weigh about 132 lbs, and ordered the jacket in size 36. It fits wonderfully while still leaving enough room to wear something warmer underneath. Since I think it runs rather large, I’d definitely recommend sizing down if you’re unsure. It keeps me wonderfully warm even on longer walks and is very comfortable to wear. The craftsmanship feels high-quality, and I really like the way it looks, too. For the quality you get, I think the value for money is more than fair. I haven’t regretted buying it for a second and would buy the jacket again anytime. Highly recommended, especially for dog owners who spend a lot of time outdoors in all kinds of weather!

The size we ordered was wrong, but otherwise it's a very nice garment.

The coat is very good: long down below knees, making it versatile for both rain, city walks and with a skirt. I find these coats work at a wide temperature range: from windy +10C to freezing -15C or so. My only complaint is that I would have liked to have good strings around the hood, to draw the hood around face, as in stormy weather the hood will not stay put. I think Didrikson often misses out on hood design/strings or the strings are useless. The other thing is that the pockets are quite high up. I really need to lift my shoulders to get into the pockets which I do quite often while walking a dog.

I think the melody parka is great and just want i was looking for in a long winter coat. I enjoy the length and warmth of the coat, useful pockets and deep hood. The customer service i have experienced due to an issue was been fantastic. Thank you
